I received a notification from my personal bank JUST YESTERDAY with new instructions for the app's Mobile Deposit service. The restrictive endorsement must now say "For Mobile Deposit at x bank Only."

I got curious and went to the FAQ section of their website regarding Mobile Deposit. There are step-by-step instructions for utilizing the app, including pictures, but at the endorsement step they still simply say "endorse check." I think it would be a good idea for them to update their online customer-facing FAQ sections regarding Mobile Deposit now that they require a restrictive endorsement. I almost missed the email notification with the new requirement, myself, and so I think that the more ways it's presented to the customer, the better!

For Mobile Deposit Only”, and signature. If the back of the check includes a check box indicating it is for mobile deposit, checking this box and signing the back of the check will satisfy the endorsement requirement.
