Abilene Boot Camp

First day of Abilene boot camp could not have gone more smoothly thanks to the incredible family at First Financial Bank. Faye and her team are awesome!

The attendees at the boot camp all stayed awake even after the carbs from lunch set in. I think that was because of their interest. The fact that Ms. Pam had an electric cattle prod out might have had something to do with it.

Speaking of, I have some wonderful pictures to post of Ms. Pam in her element—that is talking up a storm!

And the attentive attendees are rapt!

The meeting facilities at First Financial Bank or very up to date. I encourage all those in the Taylor county area to stay tuned for the next in-person training SWACHA offers in partnership with our friends there and to join us.

Day two of the Abilene boot camp and storm clouds are brewing. Is it because we will be discussing the returns process today? Makes one wonder. It did cool things off outside, which makes it all the more difficult to go inside for the day of class.

Interesting point brought up today. Remember that R14—Representative Payee deceased or Unable to continue in that Capacity and R15—Beneficiary or Account Holder (Other Than a Representative Payee) Deceased return reason codes may be, under appropriate circumstances, used for any/all Entries regardless if that item is commercial or federal in origin. Again, these two return reason codes are not just use3d for the return of federal benefit payments. They may be used for commercial Entries as well.

Flying to Abilene from Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport offered little adventure. Unless you count Ms. Pam's decision to make a big ol' splotch of queso on the front of her shirt. Actually, it was not all that noticeable...when one looked the opposite direction. 😄 Seriously, Pam, we can get you a bib.
