World Cup Fever!

So who's following the World Cup?  Our household seems to be revolving around the games this summer!  We even have a huge bracket poster on the wall for a visual aid to following the action.  My son's team (Germany) is out, but my husband (Belgium) and I (Brazil) go head-to-head tomorrow in the quarter finals.  

No matter who you are rooting for, this article has some interesting statistics on contactless payments at the various World Cup venues:  https://www.pymnts.com/news/payment-methods/2018/contactless-payments-visa-world-cup/.  Visa notes that they continue to make progress in contactless payments, and that beyond the lack of progress in the US, “we’ve seen really good progress around the world,” with one out of every five global transactions processed by the company being contactless last quarter, up from one out of every eight a year ago.
